Job Summary: The Consumer Sales Supervisor is responsible for organizing and directing the daily activities of department team members. The Supervisor will be accountable for ensuring all members of the team are meeting quality standards, individual and team KPIs, provide ongoing coaching to performance metrics and analyzing reports to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Selects, coaches and develops staff. Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manages performance-- recognizing achievement, providing feedback and administering progressive discipline when necessary.
Create and maintain best practices for team as well as develop and improve processes.
Take escalated customer calls; research the issue to develop a resolution.
Complete analytic reports and daily metrics reports.
Ensure in-home consultation and close rate goals are accomplished.
Support promotional and follow-up campaigns by directing team as appropriate.
Facilitate proper on-boarding for new Dealer Partners regarding company programs, tools, processes, and programs.
Participate in process development for future marketing campaigns.
Execute and support Infomercial Campaigns, to include identifying appropriate staffing levels, developing processes and training Dealer Partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree or equivalent experience
3 years of Sales or Customer Support experience
2 years of team or peer leadership experience including training, mentoring, and coaching others

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business
Supervisory experience in a call center and/or sales environment, managing performance metrics
Familiarity with social media and technology
Experience managing remote employees

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle escalated customer calls efficiently and professionally
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and make mutually beneficial decisions for both the company and Generac sales dealers
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if necessary
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
